    Using the temperature coefficient formula:

    ΔR/R = αΔT

    where:

    ΔR = change in resistance
    R = initial resistance
    α = temperature coefficient
    ΔT = change in temperature

    We can rearrange the formula to solve for ΔR:

    ΔR = R * α * ΔT

    Substituting the given values:

    ΔR = (1 kΩ) * (-0.05%/°C) * (50°C - 25°C) = -25 Ω
