Why did Gandhiji withdraw the Non-Cooperation Movement?a)Gandhiji real...
Hey,friend!!
Mahatma Gandhi withdrew the Non-Cooperation Movement because of the increasing violence, rage and mobs in the country. Many people took to Gandhiji's principles of Non- Cooperation and Boycott of Colonial goods and services in a different manner. Thus, different social groups had different views as to how to contribute in this Movement. This caused many communities including tribal or rural groups to instigate violence against the Britishers instead of contributing in the way Gandhiji had instructed---through Satyagrahas and Non-Violence. Thus, the overall spirit of peace that Gandhiji had proposed to be followed during their Freedom Struggle was misunderstood by people and they took over to brute force under the name of 'GANDHI' which ultimately resulted in a huge havoc in the country. I hope you get my point and got your explanation.
