The active and reactive power of an inductive circuit are 60 W and 80...
Given:
Active power (P) = 60 W
Reactive power (Q) = 80 VAR

To find: Power factor (PF)

Formula:
Power factor (PF) = P / S
where S = apparent power = √(P² + Q²)

Calculation:
S = √(60² + 80²) VAR
S = √(3600 + 6400) VAR
S = √10000 VAR
S = 100 VAR

PF = P / S
PF = 60 / 100
PF = 0.6 lagging

Therefore, the power factor of the inductive circuit is 0.6 lagging.
