- 180° conduction mode
- Find the rms value of thyristor current

Calculations:
- The rms value of thyristor current is given by:
- I_rms = (1/2π) * √(2/3) * I_avg
- Where, I_avg is the average value of thyristor current
- In A-3-ϕ bridge inverter, each thyristor conducts for 180° in one cycle and is off for the remaining 180°. So, the average value of thyristor current is:
- I_avg = (V_dc/π*Load) * (1/2) * (2/π) * (1/2)
- Where, V_dc is the dc source voltage, Load is the load resistance per phase
- (1/2) is the duty cycle for each thyristor, (2/π) is the value of sin(θ) for θ = 180°
- Therefore, I_avg = (450/π*(15)) * (1/2) * (2/π) * (1/2) = 5A
- Now, substituting the value of I_avg in the above formula, we get:
- I_rms = (1/2π) * √(2/3) * 5 = 10A

Therefore, the rms value of thyristor current is 10A. Hence, option (C) is the correct answer.
