3. Nationality

To be eligible for the SSC CGL 2024 Exam, a candidate must be:

  • A citizen of India, 

  • A citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, 

  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, 

  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of settling permanently in India.

4. Physical Standards

  • Tier 1 is an objective type test that consists of four sections: Quantitative Aptitude, ReasoningGeneral Awareness, and English. It takes place in an online mode.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2024

  • The SSC CGL Exam consists of four tiers: Tier 1 and Tier 2. The Tier 1 exam of SSC CGL 2024 is 60 minutes long and includes 25 questions from each of the four sectionsGeneral AwarenessReasoning,  English, and Quantitative Aptitude. For each correct answer, candidates will receive +2 marks, and for each incorrect answer, 0.50 marks will be deducted from the total score.

  • In SSC CGL Tier 2, four papers are conducted.
