The upcoming SSC CGL 2023 Exam will be conducted in four stages (tiers) and Tier 1 will take place in June/July 2023.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2023

  • A citizen of India, 

  • A citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, 

  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, 

  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of settling permanently in India.

4. Physical Standards

While the SSC CGL exam does not have physical standards for all of its posts, there are some specific posts that have physical requirements. SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2023

                                          

  • The SSC CGL Exam consists of four tiers: Tier 1 and Tier 2. The Tier 1 exam of SSC CGL 2023 is 60 minutes long and includes 25 questions from each of the four sectionsGeneral AwarenessReasoning,  English, and Quantitative Aptitude. For each correct answer, candidates will receive +2 marks, and for each incorrect answer, 0.50 marks will be deducted from the total score.

  • In SSC CGL Tier 2, four papers are conducted.
