What is GATE Exam?

  • The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a computer based national level exam that assesses the comprehensive understanding of various engineering and science undergraduate subjects.

GATE EE 2025 Application Process

Candidates will be able to fill GATE 2025 application form in online mode only. The name of the candidate in the GATE 2025 application form must exactly match with the name on the valid photo ID, which the candidate must produce in original while appearing for GATE 2025 examination at the centre.

Steps to be followed to complete your application process

  • For the GATE examination, candidates have to register through the GOAPS portal. 
  • After registering, candidates have to enter the OTP received on the mobile number and registered Email ID.
  •  A unique enrollment ID will be allotted to the successfully registered candidates. 
  • After entering the details, candidates have to complete the GATE 2025 application form with details like Personal details, Academic details, communication details, paper appearing for, exam centre details, photo ID proof, Signature and category certificate (for reserved categories). 
  • Next, upload scanned images of photo, signature and other documents as per the specification. 
  • Finally, candidates have to pay the GATE application fee in online mode.

GATE Application Form Correction

Soon after the GATE 2024 application form filling process is over, the authorities will open the correction window. The GATE application form correction 2025 will allow candidates to edit the details entered incorrectly while filling out the forms. However, students should note that they will not be allowed to edit every detail. Moreover, to edit the allowed details, candidates will have to pay the required fee.

  • There is no negative marking for wrong answer(s) to MSQ and NAT questions.
