CLAT Cut Off and CLAT Previous Year Paper Analysis

The CLAT cutoff is the minimum score that a candidate must achieve to be eligible for admission to law courses offered by NLUs and other private universities. After the counselling rounds are over, each NLU releases the CLAT cut-off in the form of opening and closing ranks.

Based on the analysis of the CLAT 2023 exam and feedback from students, it is likely that the CLAT 2023 cut-off will be slightly higher as the exam was relatively easy-moderate.

  • Candidates who score 105 or more marks will have a good chance of being admitted to NLSIU Bengaluru.
  • For the top 5 NLUs, the cut-off is expected to be around 98-100 marks. A good number of correct answers to aim for is 115 or more.
  • In terms of rank, the CLAT cut-off is expected to remain similar to previous years. Candidates who rank in the top 100 are likely to secure admission to NLSIU

To get an idea of which law colleges a candidate may be eligible for admission, it is recommended to review the cut-off scores of all NLUs. A table is provided below that includes links to a comprehensive analysis of past years' CLAT cut-off scores.
